Alien Hunters was the second piece of DLC released for XCOM 2, and my first role as a design owner on a project. Alien Hunters added a new narrative story mission to XCOM 2’s campaign, and introduced three extremely dangerous “Alien Ruler” enemies with unique combat mechanics. Players are rewarded with new weapon and armor upgrades if they succeed in taking down these dangerous beasts.
As the design owner of the DLC, I was the team’s main point-of-contact for all design and gameplay questions. I also implemented some of the new features, and ensured all aspects of the DLC were integrated into the base game and balanced properly.

Shen’s Last Gift was the final piece of DLC released for XCOM 2. Shen’s Last Gift introduced an additional narrative story mission and a new soldier class, the robotic SPARK.
I assisted with the overall design of the SPARK and their abilities, and implemented associated gameplay features.
